How to cure a burn

OWIEDANGFUDGEBUISCUITS! MAKE IT STOP!
DX I burnt my finger on the stove *stupid me o3o*
So I'm tryna figure out what to do to cure it....
- Do not use ice, believe it or not it makes matters worse
- Toothpaste supposedly helps (It actually works :D *btw it has to be PASTE not GEL)
- keep it aired out, walk around alot (I should be doing this now but I wanted to type this)
Got any other suggestions? I really need them T_T *sobs from the pain and starts yell @ my mom to do something about it XD*
